Modules
STK1080+
Replaces STK1070, STK1080
This module is listed for individual sale. A good upgrade is to buy two.
Ready to use module replaces the Sanyo STK1070/80 but more robust. Be aware, this is the 10 pin STK1080, not the larger 12 pin STK1080 II. Fits the Akai AA-R42 models and probably a lot more.
NOTE: The STK1070 and STK1080 are larger than the STK1030/40/50/60 family.
Compact design, same mounting holes as the original Sanyo. With just eight solder connections, it takes a professional tech about 10 minutes to replace this module. Typical current gain 8,000-20,000 vs original 5,000. 15 amp, 160 volt transistors INSTEAD of the original 10 amp, 110 volt part. These same power transistors are used in the 140 watt per channel Marantz SR8012, Denon AVR-X7200W, and the Yamaha RX-A3070.
Typical performance into 8 ohms with the tone controls bypassed: | ||
